About Our Company
Small Flame Candle Company is a veteran owned small business started in 2017 by Air Force veteran Michael Dekker, he is assisted by his wife Cassandra. We have always been candle lovers and were constantly searching for the best candles. After finding most other candles had always varying qualities and questionable ingredients we decided our only option was to make them ourselves. We quickly realized that everybody that smelled the candles we made for ourselves wanted one of their own and decided to turn our hobby into a business to share our great scents with all other candle lovers. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality natural coconut candles and home fragrance items while following business practices that respect the Earth and maintaining a commitment to donate a portion of every sale to veteran organizations.
About Our Products
Our candles and wax melts are made of a high quality blend of coconut wax and natural fragrance oils.
Coconut wax is the most sustainably grown wax commercially available. Coconut wax production has promoted farming and harvesting of coconuts. A coconut tree lives 60-80 years, producing a renewable, high yield crop; therefore, it is eco-friendly as well.
Coconut wax burns slower than other waxes producing a nice, even, long-lasting burn.
Our fragrance oils are all natural and made primarily from a mixture of isolates, isolates are isolated parts of natural essential oils. Using isolates, along with essential oils and natural compounds, we can get a wide variety of natural amazing scents.

Homes For Our Troops is a nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries leading to multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury. These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
